The Scottish distillers Johnnie Walker have released a new whisky named The John Walker in honor of their founder. The John Walker is an exclusive whisky which is blended using nine of finest distilleries (six malt and three grain whiskies). Some of the distilleries used have already closed such as Cambus and Glen Albyn so the remaining casks are used as well as some of Johnnie Walker’s classic distilleries Mortlach and Dailuaine. The John Walker has sweet hints of vanilla oak with a smokey taste and a mellow fruity flavor. The John Walker is available in extremely limited quantities making it Johnnie Walker’s most exclusive whisky to date.
