The bicycle is designed to match Hublot’s All Black series of Big Bang watches and is made using the same materials used by Hublot in their watches. Virgin Galactic is expected to begin launching tourists into space from the New Mexico spaceport in 2010, as more than 45,000 people have registered to take a trip from New Mexico. The Spaceport America web site each person will have to pay $200,000 per trip to go up to 50,000 feet into the air before accelerating into space.
Spaceport America was designed by London-based architecture firm Foster + Partners, who state that “The sinuous shape of the building in the landscape and its interior spaces seek to capture the drama and mystery of space flight itself, articulating the thrill of space travel for the first space tourists.”
